Face to face

Face-to-face conversation translation on one phone

Continuous conversation keeps listening to both people and translates each turn as it comes. Put the phone between you and talk — no buttons between sentences, no passing the phone back and forth.

Where it helps

The taxi, the pharmacy counter, the hotel desk, the doctor's reception, the landlord at the door. Places where you need a short, clear conversation with someone who does not speak your language — and where the other person will not install an app.

How it works

  • Both directions on one screen: each person sees their own side.
  • Read the translation, or have it spoken out loud.
  • Speak or type, whichever the moment calls for.

Languages

Conversation mode works in 34 languages, each of them with the microphone: Turkish, English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian, German, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Vietnamese, Persian, Kurdish, Indonesian, Polish, Ukrainian, Dutch, Thai, Malay, Romanian, Greek, Czech, Hungarian, Swedish, Hebrew, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Slovak, Croatian and Catalan.

Questions

Does the other person need the app?

No. Face-to-face conversation uses one phone shared between two people.

Can I use it for a phone call instead?

For calls, use Dilinga's translated voice or video calls; both people then use the app.
